Ep. 169: Road Rage: Boston to Savannah

Episode Summary

Top o’ the mornin’ to ya! This week we turn several shades of green as we celebrate the emerald isle and St. Patrick’s Day… American style!!! We here in the good ol’ US of A have completely bastardized this whole affair into a day of wearing ridiculous amounts of green, pretending to be of Irish descent, and getting extremely drunk while listening to U2, The Cranberries, and Thin Lizzy. Two cities on the Eastern Seaboard in particular get especially ridiculous on this day: Boston, MA, and Savannah, GA. Hop in our shamrock mobile and take the journey with us to experience local rock n’ punk n’ metal from these two fine cities. Happy St. Paddy’s Day and enjoy some road rage!

What’s this InObscuria thing? We’re a podcast that exhumes obscure Rock n' Punk n' Metal and puts them in one of 3 categories: the Lost, the Forgotten, or the Should Have Beens. This week we listen to some artist that represent Boston and Savannah! Here’s to a long life and a merry one. A quick death and an easy one. A pretty girl and an honest one. A cold pint and another one!

  1. The Lemonheads – “Left For Dead” from Lovey (1990)
  2. Baroness – “Kerosene” from Purple (2015)
  3. The Mighty Mighty Bosstones – “Devil’s Night Out” from Devil’s Night Out (1990)
